  • Recent Credit Events: If you have had a foreclosure or bankruptcy in the recent past, Non-QM loans often have shorter waiting periods than traditional loans.
  • Asset Depletion: Use your significant liquid assets (savings, stocks, etc.) as a basis for qualifying for a mortgage.
